The best thing that happened this week
This week we had our quarterly offsite with the entire tech team. Of course we talked a lot about AI, visited the Google offices in Amsterdam, and had a ton of fun. We've got such a good team going and the momentum never stops. 10/10!
It's also been a busy week on my website as a few of my latest posts went viral, resulting in about 45k visitors in a very short amount of time. It's great to see the traffic, people sharing and discussing. Maybe my small blog isn't so small after all.
Playing
I bought the premium edition of Forza Horizon 6 and I'm obsessed. I honestly think it's the best game in the series. No need to explain any further.
Listening
Currently I'm listening to all of Gracie Abrams' music.
Random things
- Last weekend I got to use my brand new Big Green Egg kamado again. Despite it being incredibly, disgustingly expensive I'm having a really good time with it. I can't wait for a really long summer with a lot of BBQ sessions.
- The weather's been a bit shit but looks like it will get better next week.
- Upgrading all the things on our Kubernetes clusters. Argo CD, CI runners, ALB controller, Envoy... ALL OF IT.
- So far Envoy Gateway has been rock solid for us. I'm glad we went that route.
