The best thing that happened this week
It's been a really productive week with a lot of meetings (yes, those can be productive) and work done. I'm currently moving slowly on the migration of our production cluster to use Envoy Gateway. So far so good. It's almost suspicious how smooth the migration is.
My iPhone game Burst is doing very well in the App Store. I've got people saying it's quite addicting and a great game overall. Especially the fact that it's free and doesn't show any ads is appreciated, which is exactly the goal here.
Our daughter is also doing really well in school. I can't go into details because of privacy, but it makes us very proud parents.
Playing
I've finally reached Legend Island in Forza Horizon 6. I'm also playing old PSP games on my Steam Deck. LocoRoco, Tekken 6 and WipEout Pure are my favorites at the minute.
Listening
Like almost everyone on planet Earth I'm listening to Ella Langley, and a song on which John Mayer plays the guitar.
Random things
- Burst received an update to version 1.2.0 which includes a Zen mode for when you don't want to sweat the leaderboards
- The nice weather is returning which gives me the excuse I need to fire up my Big Green Egg
- I bought some ribs that I want to prepare from scratch and cook on the egg using the 3-2-1 method
- The alarm on my Garmin watch worked for a good two weeks after setting Smart Wake, but now it's broken again yay!
