The best thing that happened this week
I haven't had the best week since I fell sick with the flu which prevented me from getting any kind of quality sleep in for the past six days in a row now. It's been a struggle to get anything done at all.
What we did do though is we finally went to a place to look at new doors for our house. The current ones are cheap and bending because of humidity from when the house was built. Next week someone will come to our house to measure the doors and then around October we will have them installed. Major house upgrade!
Playing
I got the last wristband in Forza Horizon 6 and got to the bonus island. It's a good game.
I bought the two pieces of DLC that I was missing for Vampire Survivors, so I've been playing that. It's just more Vampire Survivors, which is kind of what DLC is all about. But more Vampire Survivors is more better.
Next week, when I can maybe pry our Switch 2 out of my wife's hands, I really want to get back into finishing DK Bananza so I can start playing that DLC as well.
Listening
This song has been stuck in my head for the longest time. I also went back to listening to Josh Ritter which will forever be a favorite of mine.
Random things
- I'm working on a pretty big update to Burst which will include achievements, translations, and a totally new power-up. I hope to have it ready by end of next week and releasing the week after.
- I'm experimenting with Home Assistant, trying to get all of the stuff I currently have in Google Home into there as well to create some nice-looking dashboards and maybe some automation. I'm a total noob in this department.
